Job Description: We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Marine Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on marine diesel engines and related systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and performance of vessels' engines, identifying and troubleshooting mechanical issues, and providing effective solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

We are seeking a skilled diesel mechanic to join our team at a heavy equipment company located in Miami, Florida. As a diesel mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of diesel engines and heavy equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and safe for operation.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of marine diesel engines, including cleaning, lubrication, and component replacements.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including fuel systems, cooling systems, electrical systems, and propulsion systems.

• Perform engine rebuilds, overhauls, and installations as required.

• Utilize diagnostic tools, manuals, and equipment to troubleshoot and identify engine problems.

• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.

• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

• Collaborate with the team to provide technical expertise and support on marine projects.

• Stay updated with industry advancements, new technologies, and best practices.
